Use of Cookies

A cookie is a small piece of data stored on your device when you visit a website. It typically includes information about the site, a unique identifier that recognizes your browser on subsequent visits, details related to the cookie's purpose, and an expiry date. Cookies enable core features (such as logging in), capture anonymous usage (analytics), store your preferences (language, theme), and personalize experiences (content or recommendations).

Cookies set by the website owner are called first-party cookies and generally only track activity on that domain. Cookies set by other companies are called third-party cookies and can track activity across websites that integrate the same service.

We use first-party and third-party cookies for several reasons. Some cookies are required for technical reasons for our website to operate, and we refer to these as "essential" cookies. These collect information about you and your preferences when using our site. Third parties serve cookies through our website for advertising, analytics, and other purposes. These enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our website and other platforms.

You can control cookies at any time by adjusting your browser settings to refuse or delete cookies from getwalktalk.com. Here are instructions for the most popular browsers: Chrome | Safari | Microsoft Edge

Cookies are not the only way to recognize or track visitors to a website. We may use other, similar technologies from time to time, like tracking pixels (sometimes called "web beacons" or "clear gifs"). These are tiny graphics files that contain a unique identifier that enables us to recognize when someone has visited our Website or opened an email including them. This allows us, for example, to monitor the traffic patterns of users from one page within a website to another, to deliver or communicate with cookies, to understand whether you have come to the website from an online advertisement displayed on a third-party website, to improve site performance, and to measure the success of email marketing campaigns. In many instances, these technologies are reliant on cookies to function properly, and so declining cookies will impair their functioning.
